GUIDELINES
“DUNSBOROUGH DARLINGS “ Red Hatters Chapter
Membership: Means every Red Hatter must take her turn in helping to arrange an event.
This lightens the load and also brings in new ideas for our Hatter Gatherings. We all need to be involved to make the events something great to remember.
The Queen must approve the event and all invitations are to be forwarded to members by the Queen.
Committee: We do not have a committee.
Newsletters: Will be monthly and input from members will be greatly appreciated.
Invitations: By other Chapters will be posted regularly on website and newsletter
R.S.V.P.: this is a must for every event – even if you can’t come. Remember the Queen doesn’t want a huge phone bill chasing up members.
Queen's Royal Purse: This is necessary to cover the most important item of all “Public Liability Insurance” – none of us want a legal bills that we can insure against.
Annual Membership being $30 per annum- payable on joining.
Royal Purse will be emptied at the end of each year when next year membership subscriptions are paid and used to subsidise the next Hatter Natter event.
Membership Numbers: We aim to keep the membership to 30 active Red Hatters. If a member is inactive for 6-9 months they will be removed from the list to make way for new ladies. Chapter may be closed for membership, at the Queen's discretion, when we reach our maximum size.
Children & Menfolk: Our Red Hat meetings are to be child free and partner free. Occasionally we may include them in an event by invitation.
Partners make excellent chauffeurs when necessary.
